Teo Planell is a young musician from Madrid, Spain, who has been writing songs and playing in the streets for some time.
But it wasn’t until the summer of 2020 that he thought to take his music to the next level.
He was hugely inspired by the success of Rex Orange County, who released his first album at 16.
Planell through to record his first EP with producer Roy Borland, and the result was “Let It Bloom,” a warm and upbeat track that highlights Teo’s love for cinematography.
Teo’s music is also influenced by American folk and the indie rock scene. His second track, “The Place,” was inspired by Bon Iver’s music, while his third track, “April,” is influenced by the more recent sounds of Frank Ocean and James Blake.
